Trapper John is glad to be back in Texas, and proud to be on the air in his hometown on the Big 96.3 KSCS.

Trapper grew up in the Richardson/Garland area and attended Richardson Berkner High School before moving on to the University of North Texas.

After radio took him to several small town Texas stations, a great opportunity beckoned, but it required moving out of state.  After stops in Indianapolis (where he was a CMA Air Personality of the Year Finalist), Memphis, and New Orleans, it seemed like it was time to come home to his parents in Garland, his sisters in the Colony, his brother in East Dallas, and his son in Weatherford.

Trapper enjoys bowling and playing softball, is a movie buff (try him at "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon"), and he loves him some Dallas Cowboys.  More recently, he's become a facebook addict.

Listen to Trapper John (and feel free to call in) weekdays from 10 to 3 on the Big 96.3 KSCS.
