Cowtown Farmers Market, Fort Worth's only local-only producer farmers market, is now open from 8 a.m. to noon Wednesdays through November at 3821 Southwest Blvd. This is in addition to the 8 a.m. to noon Saturday hours, which are year-round.

This exhibition of forty landmark and lesser-known works by the renowned artist-photographer is drawn from the Carter’s holdings and a private collection.Ansel Adams was the last major artist to subscribe to the romantic tradition of American landscape, an artistic lineage that included Albert Bierstadt, Thomas Cole, William Henry Jackson and Carleton Watkins. He excelled at capturing a glorious American West before tourism and development marked the land. His goal was “to rekindle an appreciation of the marvelous.”

21st Annual Yellow Rose Classic Car Show (Classic Car Show)

The North Texas Mustang Club hosts the 21st Annual Yellow Rose Classic Car Show on August 7 and 8. This indoor car show features over 200 classic, late-model, antique, and muscle cars. The venue is the Amon Carter Exhibit Hall at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth. The show hours are 10am to 10pm on Saturday, August 7 and 10am to 6pm on Sunday, August 8. Admission is $10 and children 12 and under are free w/adult. Discount coupons are available at your local Ford dealer or at www.yellowrosecarshow.com.
