Experience the intrigue and fascination of the early American West in a special exhibition of nineteenth and twentieth century prints and illustrated books from the Carter’s permanent collection. Views and Visions: Prints of the American West, 1820–1970 features works by American artists who depicted the grand landscapes, wild animals, and rugged individuals of the West.Admission is free.

Rasor Family Benefit (Benefit Concert)

On October 30th the home of the Rasor family caught on fire in Haslet, Texas. The oldest of the Rasor boys, 3-years old, suffered 2nd degree burns to his hands and face, which will require surgery. Life Community Church, along with volunteers from the City of Haslet will be hosting a benefit to help assist this family on the grounds of the church. The event will include: a chili cook-off, bake sale, raffle, live music and a silent auction with one of the items being an autographed Cowboys Hall of Fame ball, with autographs from many Cowboys Hall of Famers. Life Community Church asks that all donations be made to either the church, or to a fund which has been set up at Compass Bank.
