Cowtown Farmers Market, Fort Worth's only local-only producer farmers market, is now open from 8 a.m. to noon Wednesdays through November at 3821 Southwest Blvd. This is in addition to the 8 a.m. to noon Saturday hours, which are year-round.
Ansel Adams: Eloquent Light (Arts)

This exhibition of forty landmark and lesser-known works by the renowned artist-photographer is drawn from the Carter’s holdings and a private collection.Ansel Adams was the last major artist to subscribe to the romantic tradition of American landscape, an artistic lineage that included Albert Bierstadt, Thomas Cole, William Henry Jackson and Carleton Watkins. He excelled at capturing a glorious American West before tourism and development marked the land. His goal was “to rekindle an appreciation of the marvelous.”
Folly in the Footlights - A Musical Comedy (Performing Arts)

Something is afoot at the Roxy Theatre. From mischief to mockery to mayhem, it’s all part of Folly in the Footlights. An onstage battle from beginning to end, the performers are each trying to dazzle the audience and win the coveted Moxy Award. They are hopelessly upstaged by the celebrity panelists who are competing to raise the most money and by the hosts who are rigging the contest. The antics combine to create a fast-paced evening of music and comedy.Seating is limited so make your reservation early! Admission is $10 per person.
